The primary focuses of the supply function are to provide supply and equipment support for aircraft that is on-station deployed or in transient. In addition management of mobility bags and weapons for deploying personnel is required as well as providing training to supply customers. Major functions of Supply Support include:
- Inventory Management
- Stock Control
- Warehousing
- Receipts and Issues
- Matrial Pick-up and Delivery

Inventory Management
C2G provides comprehensive inventory management. Each year inventory schedules are developed and coordinated with the customer. Based on the Inventory Schedule inventories are performed. C2G performs either complete inventory counts item sampling or special inventories for items such as mobility bags, body armor and weapons. The results of the physical inventories are used to update the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) and correct inventory discrepancies.
Document Control
C2G operates an automated document control system to include importing, exporting and scanning SBSS document control records and source documents. The Accountable Officer’s signature is obtained to all certify lost documents.
Records Maintenance
C2G establishes changes and deletes items, details and support records to ensure accuracy of the SBSS database. C2G notifies customers of support record completed actions. We maintain all supporting documentation for organization records, locally established Interchangeable and Substitute Groups (I&SG).
Equipment Management
C2G maintains a file for each equipment and SPRAM account, to include a current signed custodian appointment letter, and certificate of custodian training. C2G notifies custodians when an annual inventory of their account is due. We perform quarterly reviews of Allowance Source Code (ASC) Listing and Equipment out-of-balance listings, to identify and correct hidden excess and out of balance equipment details.
Stock Control
The SBSS is used to requisition, maintain stock levels and report excess materiel. Stock Control includes:
- Special Level Maintenance
- Supply Discrepancy Reporting
- Redistribution Orders
- MILSTAMP Tracer Reconciliation
- Unserviceable Materiel Processing

Bench Stock
C2G maintains, and updates bench stock in based on customer usage. Monthly reviews are conducted using the bench stock listings to make necessary stock adjustments. C2G maintains a file for each bench stock point of usage. Replenishment material is delivered and stored at each organizational bench stock point.
Issue Requests
C2G processes customer’s request for materiel. Requests for Individual Equipment must be accompanied by an authorization letter from the requesting organization. C2G validates all requests for equipment and hazardous material with the ASC and the AF Environmental Management Information System (AF-EMIS) prior to processing into the SBSS. C2G provides requesters a control number for the purchase of hazardous materials with a government purchase card. We inform purchase card customers to return hazardous material or proof of purchase to us for processing into the AF-EMIS and follow-up as necessary.
Warehousing
Warehousing includes all functions associated with receipt, storage, issue, material pick-up and delivery, asset security, preservation and material issue. In addition to material and replacement parts, the warehouse stock includes:
- Mobility Bags and Components
- Mobility Small Arms
- Technical Order Processing
- Hazmart and Hazardous Waste Accumulation Functions
- War Consumable Materiel
Material Storage
C2G properly secures and stores materiel according to the materiel category, specific materiel storage requirements, and assigned locations indicated in the SBSS, and assigns location for new items. C2G ensures stored materiel is properly warehoused according to condition, identity and functionality Base Operating Instructions (OIs). We retrieve bin labels from the SBSS and place on the bins accordingly. C2G processes warehouse change documents and provides courtesy storage for other organizations if space is available as determined by the AO. C2G requests an annual radioactive storage area and a resource protection survey before contract start date and the government will correct any discrepancies noted.
